| Marit
designs and writes her own Poetic Tales. She individually hand
screen-prints each one on t-shirts, sweatshirts, totes bags,
or cards. Marit has done at least one design annually since
1984. Some of the Poetry is contained solely within the visual
graphic and a title; others have Tales to accompany the designs
which are made primarily from torn-paper. Marit often infuses
anthropomorphism into her animals, both real and imaginary.
