The
designs for Marit's garment have evolved from classic ethnic styles.
She creates jackets, tunics, and caftans. Each jacket is unique in
that no two pieces of yardage are alike. She often enhances the garments
with tucks, patches, top stitching, and other sewn embellishments.
The shawl color jacket with the unlined swing color remains one of
her best styles (lower left photo). Marit also dyes silk scarves which
are wonderful accessories for any garment or wardrobe. Her garments
